This oblong proofing basketl is just what the baker needs in order to make the perfect loaf of bread.  Made out of natural rattan, this proofing basket also known as a banneton, is sturdy. It allows the dough to rise before it goes into the oven.

-Dust with flour or line with cloth and dust with flour before placing dough inside.
-Basket does not go in the oven for baking, only for allowing to dough to rise in.
