Down To Earth’s 47th Anniversary and Donation Event

Down To Earth is celebrating 47 years of being your local organic home and garden store!
What’s Happening:

• 10am-11am FREE Compost Talk with Rodney Bloom
Rodney Bloom has been an implementer, educator and advocate of composting in Eugene and the greater community for over 20 years. At Food for Lane County Rodney created and maintained the systems that transformed their food waste into rich compost diverting over 50 tons of food discards from the landfill. He has traveled to New Orleans, Senegal and Ethiopia to introduce composting methods to save and rebuild depleted and eroded soils.

• We are hosting Oregon Climate and Agriculture Network (OrCAN) who will be tabling at our store from 11am-3pm.
